Written and directed by Juan Felipe Sarmiento of OneBlue Media, This is Life was born of inspiration from David Foster-Wallace’s commencement speech “This is Water”.
Powerfully understated, Naomi provides the musical accompaniment to this short film, an ode to humanity and the intricate conjunction of individual experiences. Premiered August 2021 and selected as part of the 2023 WA Made Film Festival Saturday Night Shorts.

A songwriting lesson gifted as a birthday surprise evolved into a collaborative body of work between closet lyricist Laurie Kelly and Naomi. With the help of many friends, this five-track EP chronicles grief, love and a life worth living. Lyrics and melodies by Laurie. Music composed, arranged, produced and directed by Naomi.

Present at the inception of this dream-rock outfit, Naomi co-arranged and featured on Wooly Mammoth’s ethereal single Edge which boasts over 1,000,000 streams on Spotify.

A small commission by Dolly Llama Productions for their Sydney Underground Film FestTake48 2021” 48-hour short film competition entry Foreign Bodies. This short 1950s doo-wop inspired introduction sets the scene for a sci-fi comedy.
